Why do i always get disconnected from my DSL internet at night?

I have AT&T high speed internet. During the day, my connection is great but when around night time it starts to disconect and reconnect every couple of minutes and repeats the process. I get irritated so i just go to sleep and use it the next morning. I want to be able to use the internet without it disconnecting all the time. Please help!

have you ever contact your ISPs to ask what the problem? Maybe that something happens to your nearby area.

Several things could cause this to happen but I would say it is happening on the server side, nothing to do with you.

Faulty lines can cause a slow connection but it should be all the time, not just evening hrs.

Basically it comes down to this.

There are too many accounts being directed to an obviously over loaded hub.....

Call att and tell them to get someone out to meter the lines and see if there is a problem. there and tell them you want it fixed

i suggest you loose DSL and go with a local cable company.
