one of my neighbour keeps alarm loudly at 5am morning and since then until 6 am i hear this sound continuously . i was too frustrated that my sleep is spoiled everyday after hearign this load beeping alarm. Today i tried plugging cotton inmy ears but i found i was still able to hear this osund on my head in a mild tone rather, but i feel that it ws only me hearing this sound even when the alarm is stoped.(may be or may be not). at around 6 am this sound slowly fades away. and as a compensation i sleep extra two hours which i regret daily

have any of you experienced such a thing. i want ot get rid of this sound from my head.

it almost like i look forward fr this alarm sound every day in fear...

whats wrong ... does some one have nay explanation onthis for me...

thanks if any of your suggestion clarifies my doubt.

  1. LOL are you my neighbor!? I sleep right through my alarms 90% of the time and i have 3 of them set that sometimes beep from 5 am till lunch time, when i finally wake up lol

  2. Solutions:

    1. Form a group with other neighbours and fight with him if you donot fear. Compain in your local association

    2. If you fear change the house

  3. i think this is y u heard that voice without to hear the alarm

    1) u heard that voice many times in this hour in the morning.

    2) ur brain remember it.

    3) so at this time ur brain sent a sign to think about that voice at that hour.... (it happen at that time because ur biology clock is "knows" that in this time the voice will happen!)

im not sure this is the answer but maybe it is!

  4. Hmmm....it must be a pretty loud alarm to make your ears ring so much! What does your neighbour do about it? Can't they turn it off?!

  5. I had the same freaking problem. And the best part was, that on weekends my nabours werent at home, so that alarm went off until they got home whenever!! So i went over there, told them how inconsiderate and unesessary it was for their alarm to be so loud and going off on weekends. She apologised, and since then i neva had the same problem...

So it helps to go talk about it!!! Sort the issues out, and live in peace and harmony!!!

  6. well that must suk y don't you ask him to sort it out or make a complaint to noise control or sumthn? the onli thing i can compare that 2 is like if u listen to really loud music or c a band play hours after when u try 2 sleep the music is still ringing in ur ears so thats probli watz happing 2 u

  7. I sympathise with you. This happens to so many of us.Talking to your neighbour is the only way out of this situation.Ask him to change his alarm and use a much milder tone (like music) which is loud enuf to wake him up,but mild enuf to let the neighbours sleep. Once he does this, you will slowly, but surely get out of your alarm phobia :-)
