Why do i cry so easy..

Question

first off im 14. and do not say im having my period.

my friend is supposed to come over at like..6;30

and just before my dad asked me to go the fair with him

and i said i cant because my friend is coming over at 6;30 and he said oh , ok. and walked away. now i have tears in my eyes because i feel bad that i said no. why am i crying over this?

because you don't want to hurt your dads feelign ask if you can take your friend to the fair with him. Its okay i cry over things like that too.

Probably guilt. It sounds like you're a very caring person and are really sensitive to the feelings of others. It's a good trait and possibly a gift, but probably goes hand in hand with crying. Trying to control your crying most likely won't help your situations. Instead, try to solve them with the emotions and well beings of others in mind. It'll make you a happier person.

maybe cause u have lots of stress i do that alot so i usually just talk over my problems but do not think i am stupid or anything for giving u advice but sometimes ur parent might want to do something with u every once and a while so i would have said dad do u think u could bring me and my friend and if he said no then ask him to do domthing the next day

I recommend talking to someone.I ended up telling someone that i cry easily and she scheduled me with this weekly appointment with her and suddenly i stopped being so dramatic :D.

I wasn't going to waste my Saturday nights alone in a small room with a freaky person who acts like they care!

Luckily you are a girl, and crying is forgiven for females.

Could be many reasons, one or all, for crying.  It could be a learned behavior, i.e, it's worked in the past to "get your way", so you do not have any build in block to crying.  Second, it may be hormonal, even without periods, women still have different emotions.

Third, perhaps you just are more sensitive, and feel not getting your way is somehow "harmful" to your ego, and this causes tears.

your just a sensitive person. there is nothing wrong with this. its better to be sensitive than too strong and rock hard. im senstive too and almost anything can make me cry even the smallest things. its not ur fault at all. its completely normal dont worry. and you also cry alot because you love everything and everybody around you. you love your dad and your friend thats why it was hard for you to choose and then you felt bad. this means you have a big heart!!!! thats a good thing! dont worry about it sweetie!!! good luck!!

just try and be calm about it

and know that ur not making other people sad because ur turning down

its just a lil disappointment that they cant spend their time with u

Well, I think you have a great dad. You're so lucky, I wish my dad would've been that way. You feel bad because you decided not to go with him. Maybe you should've told your friend to visit another day or something. I would've anyway. You're blessed.

I'm 14 and I tend to get over emotional too. It's normal, teenagers have hormones which cause emotions to be very off. Don't worry about it.
