  1. do not think on death you have a life to continue

  2. Everyone fears dying at some point in their lives.  You are currently under medication for anxiety and it may be that if you check the side-effects to the medication that you might find some of these symptoms there.

The great thing is that you have check out as being in very good health and that you know that there is nothing physically wrong with your body.

  3. you're NOT going to die.

you have visited 2 doctors, why don't you trust them?

they know much more than people do on yahoo answers.you need to trust them

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with you.

just come down.everyone has some problems in his life.don't try to be weak.try not to think about it.there's a chance for everyone of us to die right now by an accident or anything else that we can't predict.

you should start having a normal life from now on

yahoo answers is for talking you can talk with everyone here but we can't give you any proper advices.the only person who could was your doctor and as I said you must trust him

  4. 1. Chances are that you're not going to die any too soon, so you might want to think about the origin of these physical signs/symptoms.  Of course, it would be a good idea to have them evaluated by a physician just to find out what's really going on.  Look, you just have to believe the doctors because their assessments are based upon real evidence, not upon something they dreamed up.

    2. Make sure not to miss any doses of your medication.

    3. I assume that you are receiving some kind of therapy or counseling.  You should bring up these concerns with your therpist/counselor.  It's time that you got a handle on these things.  You just can't go through life being scared all the time.

    4. All of us are afraid to die because none of us know that dying is all about.  It is an unknown experience to us.  It is normal for people to have a fear of the unknown; but it's not worth the effort to be dwell on death all the time since that accomplishes nothing but to add to your anxiety, which is not a very good idea.

  5. I think perhaps you feel like your not going to accomplish what you want to in life before you die. Look, I bet you that you will die at the right time, and you will feel accomplished when you do. Just wait and enjoy your future boyfriends, marriage, children, and grandchildren. You will feel satisfied and stress free by the time you are an old woman.

  6. I am the same way I swallowed a little mouthwash read the warning and I had a panic attack. Now I imagined feeling what its like to get poisoned I thought it got harder to breath. It didn't tho I think that you and me both have one life and you don't want anything to happen to yourself. Its all in your head. Just don't imagine bad stuff happening. Then your mind can't play tricks on you.

  7. Sometimes I think of death but not enough for it to affect me. When I do think about it I just start calling the man upstairs to clear my mind and give him thanks for everything. this always works for me.

  8. Maybe the doctors need to up the dosage of your anxiety medicine?

  9. Feeling like you're going to die is a classic symptom of anxiety disorders.  And anxiety disorders are EXTREMELY common, so know that you're not alone - tons of people have experienced those same feelings and learned to manage/overcome them.  Meds are great, but they're almost always more effective when used along with some counseling.  A therapist could help you learn techniques to manage your anxiety... talk to whoever prescribed the medication and ask for recommendations for a good therapist.  More than likely, just a few counseling sessions will help immensely.  Best wishes!

  10. You will die.  So will I.  So will everybody you know.

Accept that and you will have taken the first step toward resolving your anxiety problems.  Now, it probably isn't going to happen any time soon, so you don't really need to worry about it.  At 16 you are going through all sorts of body changes, and that may be the source of many of your aches and pains.

You first need to accept your mortality.  The chances are you will live a normal and happy life.  Anxiety is a more or less normal thing that most of us go through at various times in our lives.

I'm 51 years older than you.  I've lived a pretty good life.  I hope it will go on at least another 30 years, but I don't know that.

If you are a Christian read Matthew 5 and 6, commonly called the Sermon on the Mount.  In it Jesus addresses the futility of worrying.  If you have a Bible, mark the verse and re-read it whenever you feel anxious about life.  I think it has a very calming effect.

    Good luck.

  11. one day your fear will be realised, we all die eventually.... if you were 76 I could appreciate this ,  but to think of it always and at aged 16 seems that it has  been brought on by some sort of recent trauma?

Have you lost someone and never allowed yourself to grieve, or is life really hard just now, there is usually a trigger to an event. In your 'imagination 'all sorts of things 'happen' the your brain will release stress hormone adrenalin and this in turn makes your body react as if it were in danger and needs to 'run for its life' with faster heart rate and agitation.

It is normal as every single person alive today  fit and well can die suddenly in an accident or with underlying , undetected heart conditions, truth is, no ones life has a guarantee and we all bleed and we all are in danger in our daily lives. Death is all around , driving along , encountering ambulances whizzing by seeing scenes of car accidents with floral tributes laid where youngsters died. No one  knows  who is 'next'.  But if we sat and thought of it daily, no one would actually  leave their homes.

It is horrible to suffer anxiety but it hasnt happened , it isnt therefore real, its your worries building up in your head and your fears being irrational.

  12. Talk to a psychiatrist. Whats your reason for living? If you don't have one get one.

Religon also tends to lessen the fear of death, in some cases become completely fearless. Islam all the way.

  13. I'm the same. I'm a hypochondriac. im on medication and im not as bad as i used to be. but life is one constant fear of dying. i was convinced for many years that i was gonna die when i was 28. so as you can imagine, for the hole year i was terrified. im 29 now and still not dead!

  14. I had the same thing but had to turn to God He can help

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. John 14:1

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:25-34

The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6

When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:24

Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, "So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’"

And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God. Hebrews 4:3,9

Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. Psalm 119:165

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Psalm 91:1,2

  15. i also worry a lot and i've had those symptoms before and the doctors kept telling me that i was in good health, but i didn't believe them

i thought i was gonna die and hated everything and kept on saying "why me?!" i didn't think life was playing fair with me

    i got:

    headaches

pains in my head like if my brain was swelling

    chest pains

    chest tightness

    weakness

feeling like if something were crawling through my arms

    hard to breath

like if my bones were pushing out

    the answer was puberty

    my body was growing

the same happened to my friend

*my grandma did say not to worry too much or you might make all your worries come true, so i ignored the pains and they stopped

*but what helps a lot is someone to talk to, it really helped me.

    *hoped this helped :)

  16. God's honest truth I suffered from that same thing for years.  It got so bad that I couldn't even get out of bed because I was afraid I'd drop dead.   Dying is something that is normal for people to be afraid of, until it starts limiting your life.   You say your on medication but are you actually getting therapy?   CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) is MUCH more effective in treating anxiety in the long run than medication and in some cases the medication can actually make anxiety worse.  Just being on medication isn't good enough you need to be on the RIGHT medication and be in therapy to get the benefits.

I eventually got out of the Fear of Death trap with therapy alone but you might want to stick to some kind of medication along with the therapy until you can wean off the meds.

  17. Sophie this sounds like it's time to have an MMPI.It's a written test pshcs

use to figure out what is causing unreasonable fears ,motive for handling things the way you do.It's a bit long but will explain a lot.Fear doesn't make you a week person, fearing and still doing makes you brave.Hang on get the test and find a counselor or support group YOU like.

Your not alone,I get panick attacks too

  19. When I was younger...about 7...I use to pray to God to please let me win a Million dollars and I promised to help the poor...but I was young and innocent at the time...I wanted to get out of South Central, Los Angeles...as young as I was I knew how dangerous it was to live there. I've been to many more doctors and i've never given up hope on me...I don't fear death anymore because I know now...If death comes, it just didn't take me...Death had to work for me...I will never give in to anything, I worked for everything that i've accomplished..

  20. im wit you

  21. Yea im pretty sure most people get like that... if it happens it happens i guess

  22. I am sorry you have to live like that.

Why don't you go to a therapist?

  23. Do you have any hobbies?  Are you getting enough sleep?  Do you listen to music?  YOu should do what normal teenagers do like watch funny shows on tv, listen to music so that you dont let bad thoughts bother you.  Talk to your friends and parents everyday.  Keep yourself busy while youre awake.  The doctors may be right too that there is nothing wrong with you.  You just need to keep yourself busy and get some light exercise and healthy food everyday. Think about happy and positive thoughts .Good luck.
