i want to say "noob"... :)

ok.

well i had all my wisdom teeth pulled, plus two other ones about a week ago. i had to have my mother call him on the third day because i could barely swallow/open my mouth AND my cheeks hurt SO MUCH. i told my mother to ask him if i should continue icing my cheeks, and he simply said "no, you only do that on the day of the surgery". and when i heard that, i was like "O_O". seriously though, icing STOPS swelling, right?! so WHY would he say something like that? haha, i just thought that was a little stupid of him.....

plus, when he talks, he seems all nervous. he says "ok" in every one of his sentences.... and not just at the end. hahahaha

haha, so is it wrong that i feel this way about him? or am i just being stubborn/paranoid?

  1. Hello...."OK"...here's the deal...regardless of the dentist that provided you services, you are completely entitled to get a second opinion about any dental issue that you are concerned about. In your case, given the facts as you have related them...I would do just that ASAP and I mean "ASAP"....Good luck and I wish you well.

  2. I stand amazed at how incompetant doctors and dentist are after spending all these years in school. here's my experience.  I used a dentist last week and I told them I had to have gas. Not only did they NOT give me gas, he jabbed the needle in my mouth with no warning (like they teach you to do with fruit when you are learning how to give shots).. then he proceded to pull a perfectly good tooth instead of the bad one.. he pulled it wrong..then an hour later (after I sit there and cried the whole hour while he attempted to fix his mess), I walked out with not only my bad tooth but major nerve damage on 1 side of my mouth. I now can't even eat soup without it falling out my mouth..

THere is one person who had dental work done and the dentist numbed the mouth and they are now paralyzed because he did it wrong. Another MD removed a guys good lung in surgery and he died.. Pure incompetance.. and for this we pay thousands of dollars a year.

Your dentist sounds like mine. An incompetant Jacka** who is only in it for the money..he doesn't care about the patients. find you another one ASAP.

  3. I think your dentist is secretly attracted to you and that makes him nervous around you.
