And ive seen ALOT of childbirths and none of the girls have what i have. So im nervous for doctors and people to look down there. I feel like im the only one. Is there any girls out there that can give me advice and talk:(

  1. I understand how you feel. I'm 41 weeks and i'm still not to fond of the idea of the father or my grandmother looking at my area like that. You might feel vulnerable now, but once it comes time to deliver the baby, I really don't think you will care that much. You will be more concerned about the baby arriving.

  2. They are doctors, they should be able to handle you in a professional manner and if they don't - switch doctors. But i'm pretty sure you're making it into a bigger deal than need be.

I have hair that grows on my inner thighs that I absolutely despise. It's a bit thicker than the rest of the hair on my legs and before my first pre-natal I had just shaved. Well, I was in a hurry and got bad razor burn. So I had to have my first pre-natal exam (pap smear and all) with nasty razor burn. I was embarrassed. It's hard for me to shave and NOT get razor burn there - even using creams.

My point is everybody has things about their body they are self-consicious about. Just try not to think about it. Plus when you're giving birth, I think it'll be easy to forget all about it - lol. ;]

  3. They have seen it all and trust me they arnt looking and judging. They are very professional and there will be no problems. Good luck and congratulations

  4. There are a h**l of a lot of bodies out there, and doctors see the most of them. Obviously someone saw down there if you're pregnant now.

I don't think you should worry about it at all. I know that won't help much... I obviously haven't seen you, lol, but I can guarantee its not as bad as you think, and whichever doctor works with you may not even think twice about it.

BUT MOST OF ALL... I hear a lot about women wanting to put on their makeup and get their hair all right for when they're husbands etc tape the childbirth. BUT lol, I really think with everything else going on and all the *fantastic* sensations you'll be experiencing, anything like that will be the last thing on your mind.

Have a healthy baby, and learn to love your body. Its the only one you'll ever have.

  5. Believe me...the last thing you will think about is how you look down there!!

    I am a young mother also...i gave birth when i was 17...

The one thing i was always scared about was a doctor staring at me down their, when they were checking my cervix at my appointments etc...

They have probably seen every different looking v****a there is!!

the doctor will not give a second thought about it hun, he sees one everyday!!

    congrats on the baby x

  6. I'm about 5 weeks pregnant with my first too, and I'm 20 years old. I've had the same kind of issues when I was younger. Don't stress out about your body. Doctors will be focused on making sure you and the baby are all right during check ups and delivery. They won't be making judgements about your body. All of us women are different and uniquely made! Love yourself for who you are and focus on being a new mommy! Congratulations and enjoy this new chapter of your life! Take care!

  7. There is not one girl out there who is the same. Doctors see all different colours, sizes etc of girls v****a's. Dont worry and don't be embarrassed. They are there to help you not to make you feel uncomfortable. I'm also having my first baby and honestly if they want to look down there for a reason then go for it. Its for the health of yourself and your baby.

Congratulations and enjoy being pregnant :-)

  8. there is nothing wrong with that at all !!!!=D

  9. Hun I always thought the same thing im now 25 i have a six year old and im 31 weeks pregnant i have had numerous relationships and doctor appts and not one person has mentioned it lol either they love it or they hate it and since its men were talking about they probably all love it.

  10. seriously when you are in labour you will not be worrying about anything, i was a self concious person to, ive known my doc 7 years and i wouldnt even let him see my stomach-.. i gave birth 8 days ago - u loose all ur dignaty when u give birth.... you will be right- its pretty scary but theres no turning back, someone will have to see
