i mean im happy...i live a happy life

have both parents, have brothers....have a girlfriend

i should feel awesome

Don't 'should' yourself. If you don't feel happy, then maybe find (with your parents help) a professional person to talk to.

If you fell and broke your arm you would go to the hospital to have someone who knows how fix it, right?

Yet, when humans have 'other' problems, we tend to hide that.

It's probably because you feel like you should feel awesome.

It's part of the human condition - by wanting something, we don't allow ourselves to have it until we feel we've attained it.

Naturally, for something as intangible as "Feeling awesome" this kinda makes it impossible.

You just gotta find the mental short cut, that's all.
