Why do i feel the longing for a sister?

i am the only child of my parents. when i was young, i felt that desire of having a sister. i thought that as time passes, i'll learn to get over that feeling, but it i did not. and it continuous to burden me. sometimes, i even dream of it. it really puzzles me. why do i feel this?

There's this feeling of lonliness and the desire to search for companionship. It's very bothersome because man was built to belong and to love and lonliness and isolation deprives man of just that.

Try meeting up with other close people. Your friends, cousins, your special someone. All you need is a person. It need not be a relative (a sister or a brother) because what you really need is a companion, not a sister or a brother.

It's not important if you have or do not have siblings. What's important is that you have someone to care for you. I think that's enough.

You're just in a state of depression. You'll get over it in time.
