Welcome to the fold; visiting this site is a good start: hockeyfetish.com.  Please keep in mind, I do not consider myself 100% g*y.  Girls in hockey gear have always aroused me as well.  I'm 27, but I clearly remember knowing that I had a fetish specifically for hockey gear before I even knew what a fetish was.  I think I was 11 or 12. 

A fetish is not necessarily a "g*y" or "straight" thing; fetishes exist (most of the time) outside of sexual orientation.  That is to say that for some people (like me) a person does not need to be wearing it or associated with it for it to be sexually arousing.  It is the gear itself that does this.  A person of this type has a true "paraphilia."  [You can look up that definition, I don't need to bore you by writing it out here ;).]  For others, as others have mentioned above, it must be associated to a person (specific or just a person in general.) 

As others have also said, however, there is nothing wrong with you at all.  Some people like sports gear, some like balloons, others get off thinking about shoes, some even dig amputees. If nobody is hurt or abused then there is no problem.
