every time i take aspirin, i get, like, these pains in my upper chest where my throat and esophagus are. i noticed it must be aspirin because it happens when i take Excedrin and bayer and those both contain aspirin in the ingredients. it usually happens three hours after i take the pill when it kicks in and the chest pains last for about 30 minutes or maybe a little longer or lesser. i thought it might be that i'm allergic to aspirin, but i'm not sure. anyone have any ideas?

  1. It sounds like heartburn. Aspirin is tough on your stomach and can cause heartburn or even stomach bleeding. Take it with food, or take a gentler painkiller like acetominophen.
