Why do i get this feeling?

the feeling that all those teenage girls who talk all day about how twilight is the best book ever haven't read many other books.

I'd say some of them, but not all.  I've seen many well read girls falling in love with the series.  This applies to some adults I know as well.

because as you've suspected, they probably haven't. the majority of the ppl out there love to go along with the flow, so if a few ppl start saying that a book, artist, movie, song, is great and awesome and genius, most will go along with it.

i haven't read twillight yet but i have ordered it. i thought harry potter was the best book in the world but then i read relentless. it was brill.

They may not have, but they may be avid bookworms too. I've read tons and tons of books and I enjoyed them very much. I have a tendency to say "That was the best book ever!" after ever book I read. lol. Unless it sucked of course. But when people ask me what my favorite book is the answer remains the same. Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet and Autobiography of HenryVIII by Margaret George are tied for first place!

Because most of them haven't. I love Twilight, but that annoys me too. It's definitely not the best book ever.
