Why do i have a bunch of unknown internet connections ? virus?

Question

when i open to see what internet connectinos are availible for me on my computer a bunch of random connections appear like alan and cu203 and then there is wireless (which is my actual connection). my computer is the only computer in the house that picks up these connections.

is it a virus? what could this be should i worry?
