Why do i have to put in my screen name&password in everytime i log on?

You don't. Just make sure you check the box where it says "remember me" on the sign in page and next time it will remember your screen name but you will have to type the password. Also it is done for security reasons. You wouldn't want someone with your screen name and password sending your crush messages through you... would you?

Yahoo requires you to sign in every 24 hours or so.  But you may need to go to options to change it to that.
