  1. Maybe the conversation isn't interesting enough and you soon lose interest.

  2. That shows ur shy or lack confidence. It's a turn off!

  3. Confidence is the key.

Can you look yourself in the eye?

I know this sounds silly but try and look into your eyes in a mirror and examine every detail of it. the color, the shape. becasue a lot of people can't even do that let alone look someone else in the eye.

Then practice on your friends and family. Make a contious effort to look at them even if they're boring you to tears.

They'll soon feel confident talking to you and this will make you feel more involved in the conversation. Then, and this is difficult, do it shopkeepers and waiters and bus drivers. Saying "Thank you" and looking them straight in the eye with a smile and when you start getting more confident with it, you won't even have to think when your talking to a guy and you'll feel so much more confident. Good Luck x

    Hope this helps.

  4. Are you a shy person?  Sounds like you're shy and not 100% comfortable around these people, and if you're shy guys are usually the people who make it worse for you.  I don't think there is anything wrong with it.  You just need to hang around with these people more until you feel more comfortable with them.  If it is something you want to change, you're off to a good start because now you recognize that you do this and can now make a conscious effort to change it.  It could also be weird for you to look someone straight in the eye and sometimes it is not the most comfortable thing either.  I was a very shy person and had trouble with this.  The more comfortable you feel around people and the more confident in yourself you feel, this won't be a big problem.  Don't worry, it is normal.  Good luck!
