  1. Hi 8i have had this for about 3 yrs now it drives me totally insane. App m doctor said it could be a blockage in the tube. Or a form of tinnitus. If its really bad you can get referred to ENT doctor. Mine is crazy i cant barely hear or sleep for it. Used to think i was going mad. Go docs.. xx

  2. A rise in blood pressure is likely to cause what you describe. If it is a sporadic response from physical activity then it would most likely be deemed normal. However in you situation, hypertension should be considered a possible cause.

  3. Hi, I have had this problem for many years and was recently diagnosed with fibromuscular dysplasia (abnormal cell growth within the arterial walls which causes blockage.)  Many of us have this pulsing sound in the ears where we can hear our heartbeat.  I have been told by medical professionals and have researched it on the internet and typically if you hear your heartbeat, it could be an indicator of blockage in an artery.  I don't mean to alarm you, but you should push the issue with your primary doctor or go see a vascular doctor.  I didn't push it when I should have and only through pure luck and a thorough medical exam was I tested and diagnosed.
