  1. Its because you are not using either bat properly.  You are 13 so you cannot fully swing a senior league bat because you are just beginning to use -3 bats. The main tell to the distance of the ball is bat speed.  The only reason the ball goes farther is because the weighting on a wood bat is more towards the end making it top heavy, making you come through the ball harder.  When you grow and little and are able to swing a -3 hard and a wood bat hard, then you will see that alumium will go much farther than a wood bat.

  2. Because wood bats are solid all the way thru.  Aluminum bats are hollow with a sponge like core.  Thus you get more drive with wood.

  3. My brother is the same way. To tell you the truth, it doesn't really make a difference whether you use a wooden or aluminum bat. The only thing that happens when you use an aluminum bat is the ball comes off the bat quicker than it does on a wooden bat.

To add to ice cold's comment, a corked bat actually makes you hit worse. (they tested it on Mythbusters)

  4. you corked the bat jk i don't know thanks for the info xman fan
