Why do i keep getting a msg that my session has expired when logged in on my treo?

Question

my phone wont let me log out of yahoo i. m. it tells me that my session has expired. when i try to log back in, i can't send/check msgs, change preferences to stop the auto log in, or log out on my own to enter a new screen name.
