Why do i keep getting rejected for a visa card in canada?

i apply for a mastercard and get, i apply for a visa card an i don't get it... any possible explanations?

  2. The approval for a visa card requires for a higher salary and you have to prove it by a certificate of employment and compensation.

  3. Visas are almost always issued by banks. They are often lower interest than you standard credit card or have lower administration fees than a MasterCard.   Banks really don't like to take risks.   If you have poor credit or a shown inability to manage your finances, the bank will probably not want to issue you a card.

    MasterCard on the other hands, are almost all issued by private financiers, such as larger companies.  They charge exorbitant interest, higher administration fees.   They can also afford the risk, as they have variable revenue streams.  That and if you don't pay the bill, the interest compounds to the point whereby when they finally do send you to collections, they are still recouping a large portion of what they are actually out.
