i often have flashbacks of situations that have never happened to me... just as if i was looking at someone else's life, just like a Déjà vu.

Now... i don't believe in reincarnation but, what can be happening to me? am i the only one?

it always resembles a kind of european maybe british ambiance

  1. I have this too. Is it good stuff or bad stuff? Well, I agree with the 1st answer, but I know that you can also have a forgotten memory and something triggers that memoury.

Sometimes, I have bad "memouries" of things that might have been done to me as a kid. I don't feel like their memories from mvoies, b/c the locations these places happened at are real and the people are real too. Still, they  might be unreal b/c like when i thnik of thse thnigs, it feels as if they didint happen. So basically, it depends on what type of flashbacks your having, who's in it, and if they're realistic. If they bother you, go see a psycholigist.

  2. Perhaps you should start.  Believing in reincarnation I mean; when I was four years old, I had a habit that annoyed the h**l out of my caretakers.  I grew up in Honduras, were the old lady who took care of me refused to use washing machines.  What she used instead, was a stone washing well.  It was a "well" of sorts, made out of solid concrete, the leftside section had a "scrubber" place for rubbing clothes, whil the right hand section you filled with water in spanish its called a "pila." (pee-luh)  I would look at the water, and just begin slapping it.

Later on I see a video on youtube, of Shaolin monks doing that very same water exercise.  Then there is also my obsession with martial arts and Kung Fu in general, as well as China.  Furthermore when I was 7 years old, when asked to sketch a house, I drew a pagoda style building.  Several years later, it turns out that what I drew, was an image of the old Shaolin temple.

Hey, past life memories can be scary but its nothing to worry about; myself I just ignore them.

Reason?  If you have ever done research on memory, the mind can play tricks on you; any image you saw, no matter how insignificant, the creative powers of your mind can elaborate on, and magnify well beyond the original image you saw.  Just because you fail to recall right of the bat, that does not make it a past life memory.

Besides if I was a Shaolin monk in a past life I would probably would have mastered Tai Chi Chuan by now, with my "Shaolin spirit" "reawakening" or something but, come on now lets not be silly.  The reason I do not believe in "natural ability," is the very concept of reincarnation; is there really such a thing as "talent," is the person merely relearning skills they knew in a past life, and they in fact have centuries of experience?  George S. Patton believed he was a Roman general in a past life, hence his reason for wanting to be a military commander.  I believe it was Patton, or some other famous WWII commanding figure who believed in past lives.

If you have played Assassin's Creed, then there is also the theory of genetic memory; how the very memories of your ancestors are passed on in your DNA, not just their genetic code.  Explain to me though how an Iraqi Jew has memories of a Shaolin temple.  Explain to me how at the age of 4, when I had never even seen a Kung Fu movie, I started slapping water the moment I saw a pool.  Also the Japanese cartoons I saw as a boy, it was all sci fi stuff, there were never any pagodas or "asian" buildings in them.

Absolutely I believe in past lives, however, the only "proof" there is, to me at least, is if you posses a "gift" or "talent" for something that goes well beyond the average.  To me, its possible that the legendary martial arts figure Bruce Lee, may have been the reincarnation, a true reincarnation, of a Shaolin monk.  Its the only way I can explain his prodigious skill and marathon training ethic.  I think that, because only a Shaolin monk from a past life would criticize modern martial arts for how corrupted they have become.  Still though even Buddhism teaches, a soul has to begin a clean slate, and it is actually a bad sign if memories from past lives are reawakened.  Reason being, too much of that life's Karma was carried into this one.

If you were a military general in a past life, it is better not to pursue a career in the military.  If you were a painter, become a scientist; the idea is, get rid of that Karma.  Ultimately the only way you will come to terms with it, if you get the chance, is to go to England.  Perhaps your soul has some "unfinished business" there.

    good luck.

  3. Because you're possessed by a demon. get an exorcism as soon as possible.

  4. That's really interesting. Maybe you never experienced them, but you saw something in a movie or a picture and thought of it and your mind has made its own story of it. and then you forget that vision that your mind created until one day a picture or movie triggers it, and you feel like you've "seen" it already.

I get this too, but when I experience this, I usually am lead to the belief that I dreamt it and am now thinking back on it.
