Why do i look small?

im not small, im 5 "11 215 lbs. came down from 260lbs. I am going to apply for a job as a corrections officer soon, and will get it for the need for officers, but some people think im small. what gives? as i stated im 5"11 and 215 lbs! but when i compare myselves to others, i do look smaller even when we weigh about the same.

Is this just becuase the differences in bodies? or because some people have more muscle and some others hve more fat? idk. someone explain this to me

Could be your posture or carriage.  

Stand tall; square your shoulders... keeps eyes level or up.

As you stated, some people have more muscle then others and as most people know, muscle weighs more then fat.

So, you may weigh 215lbs, but I would wager you have a dense muscular stature, or a higher muscle mass. And you probably don't look as if you weigh that much.

Don't worry about it, let people continue to consider you "small", if ever you need to use physical force upon them, they will think differently afterward!

You could have a small frame . Just be proud the way you are! You only have to measure up to the toughest person you know .(YOURSELF) :-) Don't let others tell you that you are less than you want to be.

you only... mostly seem small in your own mind.

I'm 5'10" & 225 & people tell Me I look like I would mop the floor with most guy's... so go figure.

It's mostly how you carry yourself & if you are confident in yourself.

Don't look down, square your shoulders & walk with a purposs.
