Why do i look so young?

Question

I'm 16 and everyone keeps saying i look like i'm 12.

when i tell them that i'm a junior in highschool they like flip out and they don't believe me. It might be because i'm asian but..

I know the pictures aren't that good, but my camera broke so i don't have many recent pictures

so i have two questions

1. what can i do to make myself look older?

2. which one makes me look older? long or short hair?

Looking young is actually a really good thing...Because you get the the rest of your life!!

You will look fine in a couple of years and just be happy that you are like this.

don't most asian girls naturally look really really young? It's not uncommon.

I know at least 9 asian girls in their late teens who look like they're 12.

I have the oppsite problem.

Im 14 and look 28.

I have had a 33 year old guy ask me out....then i told him i was in 8th grade.

It was really immbrassing :(

Embrace the fact that you look young!!! That's a good thing! Why rush into being older? Your hair looks good either way.

I don't think you look like you're 12. I would've guessed 14.

People probably think you're so young because you look small and thin which is not a bad thing. There's nothing much you can do about it. Maybe wear a little more makeup, but don't go overboard.

I like your hair long, but shorter would probably make you look older.

Pls don't try to make yourself look older...looking young has been somewhat of a gift for me because I have a baby face.  I'm 26 and I get 17-18 all the time!!!  Trust me age will catch up with you later in life.

Well my suggestion to you is to stay looking just as you are....but you did ask for suggestion so maybe you can try highlighting or dying your hair a LITTLE and maybe a splash of make-up like some lip gloss -- also from the looks of it you wear T-shirts try getting maybe other shirts like a V-neck or something

You don't look 12 you look 14-15

and Asian women usually look younger than they are.

Don't worry about it, it's actually a GOOD thing. Think of when you're in your 40's and 50's ...you'll look much younger!

I completely understand how you feel! I'm 14 but people tell me I look 11. It's probably partly because of your asian blood, so you have a rounder face. I'm half asian and sort of look like that too. Don't worry, we tend to age much better and look like we're 50 when we're 70. Embrace your looks!

Also you with long hair looks best.

If you want to make yourself look older, eyeliner is the key! It can add a year or to and catch you up to your age, but don't put WAY too much or it'll end up looking like you got a black eye.

Long hair looks best I believe and how you present yourself dictates how people will perceive you. If your interested in being accepted as older than just act it and it will be so.
