  1. Keep your eyes on the ball all the way through impact. You can catch up and find the ball in there air. Watch the pro's on TV in slow motion they clear there hands and the club through the ball before they look up. Do not worry trust it and you will figure it out.

  2. My struggle with this continues, but I found the most improvement was in finding a regular golfing partner.

When I first started, I often golfed a quick nine alone. Not wanting to loose my ball, I developed the nasty habit of raising my head.

Once I found a few coworkers who golfed and began to play consistently with the same people, I was able to ask them to focus on watching where my ball went so I could focus on keeping my head down.

That focus helped me develop a straighter shot, so I have an easier time finding my ball without assistance. Once I knew I didn't have to be responsible for tracking my ball, things fell into place quickly.

    Best of luck!

  3. Just focus. Think about the tee underneath the ball, and stare downward until you have followed through with your arms and your right foot (assuming you are right handed). Trust me, it helps a lot. You will notice a big difference in the distance and direction of the ball if you do learn to keep your head down. I was shooting 50's and when I learned to do it I went to 40's.

  4. I feel your pain.  I am a terrible golfer, because of the same thing.  It's hard for me to get used to swinging a golf club, because it feels unnatural to swing and stand that way, as opposed to swinging a bat.

I'm always raising my head in my downstroke, and causes a massive slice to right.  I don't have any immediate answers, because I still do it.

However, I've seen advertised on tv infomercial about a special club that has no head, it's segmented with hinges so that in a bad swing, it will bend at the point where you need most work.  You swing softly, and as you get better, the shaft doesn't break or bend.  That's the only thing I can suggest.

If you have golf channel on your cable, try watchig it because they have "help" shows or tips often.  I did see one specifically about this problem but forget it.  Sorry.

  5. stare at the ball

dont worry about where it goes

make some one else watch where it goes

  6. I had this problem occasionally when I was young. What helped me was when addressing the ball(I'm right handed) I would turn my head slightly right (back).

Worked for me hope it works for you.
