Why do i need to reinstall WoW?

i finished my trial account and i install a used WoW game from a friend but when i log on it said it was reinstalling WoW and an update..then i log on again and it said its reinstalling again..why??

  1. maybe its so u can trade lol?  my friend had to reinstall it after a trial account
