Why do i never win on titan poker anymore?

I often play in the $5 jackpot sit n' go's on titan poker and I used to have quite a good success rate, finishing in the money once or twice every three games but recently, the last 10 games or so i seem to always get a bad beat it happens in pretty much every game now. I'm starting to think that they are making me lose on purpose so i'll deposit more money. I can understand that i could just be getting a bad run but its more than this, its always really bad beats. Do u reckon they would do this on purpose?

  2. The amount of games you are referring to isn't exactly a high sample size.  It doesn't make sense to me when a player makes an argument that they rig your cards so you lose.  Remember, sites make money from rake and tournament fees.  Once you lose a sit and go, multi-table, or lose your cash in a ring game, the bulk of your money goes to another player or players, just as in real life.  They don't make money when you have none in your account.  If anything, making multiple deposits is probably a heavy cost to poker sites.  It might be free for you to deposit and withdraw, but not to poker sites.

I haven't made a "reload" deposit since last June on my poker accounts.  However, I have had my fair share of bad runs, some lasting several weeks.  Poker is very streaky, even for the pros.  If you can't be disciplined to ride through the bad runs, then turn the software off.  Try again in a couple weeks, winning at poker is all about discipline.

  3. "The last 10 Games or so..."

Well a downswing can last mmmuuuuucccchhhhhhhhh

longer! I think there are about 300.0000 ways to deal the cards at a 10 seated table and most of them favour Your opponents. So looking at 10 games is like throwing a dice 6 times and if no 6 appears to claim that its manipulated!

If You really believe that the poker room makes You loose or win then:  CALL THE POLICE!

Most poker rooms have their Random Number Generators checked by third parties to ensure the fairness of the games, so it is highly unlikely that they can cheat on You.

    And also consider this:

How many hands have You won when You started that were as lucky as the hands Your opponents are winning now !!!

Many players are frustrated by bad beats, but when the same happens to them and they win they don`t call it a bad win! The n they think it`s skill.

  4. Jacques speaks the truth.  The site doesn't make money from you putting money on there.  If you buy in and lose it all, you probably have a bad taste in your mouth and aren't going to play more.  Someone like me who's playing a lot of hands, thousands a day, is paying lots of money in rake to the site.  They don't want you to lose.

For tournaments, they get paid the same amount regardless of who wins or loses.

Results really can be streaky though.  In heads up sit n goes, one of my stronger points, I've made a lot of money over a few thousand games.  But I've had streaks of 6-8 losses in a row.  Just happens sometimes.

Likewise you can kill a cash game for 15bb/100 for 3 days straight, then one day you can't win a hand and you lose 8-10 buyins.  It sucks, but it's just variance.  You need to be aware of it and employ good bankroll management, and you'll be able to ride the swings.  Good luck

  5. I stopped playing online poker for this reason. I realized when I deposited money on a site for the first time I would tend to get up quick. Eventually after playing again on the site I would tend to lose more. I've come to the conclusion that the site wants you to think "well this site is easy money" and wants you to continue to deposit money on their site. I really believe that they know who's up and who's down and you will end up down in the long run.

  6. Well that's what they're made for isn't it? They're not interested in you...just your money. ¬_¬

  7. If it's truly bad beats, the other players suck and you should welcome their presence as over the long haul you will end up with even more money.  This is a good thing and will be very profitable to you.

If they aren't bad beats and you are having trouble letting go of your big starting hands (AA AK, etc.) when the cards don't come up in your favor, push yourself to walk away if the other guy's probably hit something with a lesser opening hand.

Personally I have trouble with either so I feel your pain.  Hang in there!

  8. I don't know players are getting better I suppose. Check out the Cake Poker Network it's full of donkeys, you can clean up. http://www.InternetPokerBonuses.com has some excellent poker bonuses for the Cake Network and they give you some exclusive freerolls. I never seen more donkeys in my life then on Cake.

    Best of luck
