Why do i run so bad in the morning?

i have to practice getting up early and run to get ready for cross country but i keep getting cramps. should drink water 30 minutes before or what?

  1. I remember reading an article which stated that men don't run well in the morning, whereas women do. On the flipside, men run better later in the day, whereas women don't.


  2. You haven't completely woken up yet.  Running "experts" tell you that you shouldn't run within an hour or so from when you get up...but no one ever listens to that.  I myself know what you're feeling as my coach would make us run at 6 to 7 in the morning.

  3. YOU SHOULD WAKE UP AND EAT OATMEAL...ITS LIGHT AND IT WILL HOLD U OVER WHILE RUNNING. AND U WONT GET CRAMPS
