Why do i see a shade darker in one eye??

one eye seems to see one shade darker than the other also, in the same eye, things appear alittle closer than the other. any help would be appreciated.

  1. I asked the same question once and was told that its because when we in a car, one eye gets more light than the other so they try to correct it and thats why 1 will see things darker.
