  1. I don't mean to belittle you,  But from the limited view of your swing......well.......You need to find a teaching pro and have a few lessons.  They will iron out the basics for you.  There are too many things that I saw in the vid to be able to address in this forum.  Good luck and enjoy the game.

  2. why do you  turn your left knee in so much during your backswing, you need to get rid of some of that.  if i was you i would go get a lesson, i dont have enough space here to type everything i would like to say, you need work.  Im not being rude, just saying....a lesson will do you good

  3. A slice can only result if you have two things:

an outside to in swing path and

an open club face at impact.

The good thing about your video is that it indicates you have a lot to work on.

To start with I would suggest you try to keep your head a lot calmer. Take another look and you will see there is a lot of lateral movement.

Also look at your left shoulder just before and after you make contact with the ball.  You will note that you lift this shoulder before making contact.  Do this in very slow motion without a ball and observe your club face.  You should be able to see that it opens.  One of the elements I mentioned above.  Keep that left shoulder down until after your club has made impact.  That should help.

It may be easier to practice using a shortened - say three quarter - backswing.

    Good luck

  4. A slice is caused by the clubface being open at impact.  Your swing looks pretty good but I would recommend you square your right foot up to the target line.  It is open in the video allowing your right hip to turn way more than necessary.  This is robbing you of power and probably causing timing issues.  Also it looks like your driver has an Aldila NV shaft and it may be too stiff for your swing speed leaving the face open at impact.

  5. A slice results from the rotation of the ball clockwise as seen from above, caused by the club head moving right to left at contact. It's just a curve ball. Golfers call that hitting "outside in".

Conversely, if the club travels left to right, or "inside out" you hook. Obviously you want the club head moving straight ahead.

One way to adjust that is to change the position of the club at the top of your backswing; yours looks low to me. Try higher but closer to your body, that will make it less roundhouse. Then adjust that position forward or to the rear to correct.

Remember, you only have to remember 123 different things when you swing. Good luck.
