Why do i sneeze when im on the computer??

Question

Ive noticed that every night i come on the computer i end up sneezing. I usually go on for 2 hours a night and thats 3 nights in a row now that i've sneezed once while ive been sitting at the computer!

why is this?

your computer monitor will attract dust when it is switched on.  you may be disturbing the dust as you sit at your computer...

try dusting your computer with a tissue before you turn it on?

As others have said dust, but it could be from the fact that having your eyes subjected to light for a certain amount of time makes you sneeze to stop the light from entering the eye.

Maybe the fan on the back of your computer is kicking up dust.  Try dusting behind your computer and see if it makes a difference.

Cbee is on to something. it is rare but not to rare that people sneeze at bright flickering light. it is a reflex that is crossed up in the brain. If it is not dust try adjusting the refresh rate on your monitor this may help

you probably have dust clean your computer if it dosent work than you probably have something next to your computer that making you sneeze

To give an alternative to the dust thing, it could be that you computer screen is really bright, and the constriction of your pupils is causing you to sneeze, especially if you have sensitive eyes.

I too, think its dust. I suggest you clean your computer because If dust builds up to quickly on the motem, it can ruin your internet connection.

you probably have a virus.  Do you have a mac or a PC?  If you have a Pc you have probably contracted a cold through it.
