Why do i still feel guilty?

i cheated on my boyfriend of almost a year and it was the bigggest mistake of my life. and i told him yesterday and we talked it through and he decided to stay with me... i don't know what to do because i still feel guilty

It's normal for you to feel guilty. Because he was kind enough to even consider giving you another chance will make that guilt worse. Refocus your guilt into a commitment to make him be glad he decided the way he did.

Not to make you feel bad, but you should feel guilty. But, if you want to make the relationship work, its gotta be less about you, and more about your boyfriend. Somehow, you're going to have to make him trust you again. Keep feeling guilty, that's not necessarily a bad thing. What you did was wrong, and its up to you to make it right.

Well you were brave to tell him and i respect that. Guilt takes a while to leave -it's like forgiveness -it's a process. You hurt your man and it is only normal that you will feel bad about it. But you have asked him to forgive you and he is trying -now forgive yourself. Or else you will never more forward and love like you should....
