  1. How much you sweat, and the activity of your sweat glands are genetic.  If your parent/parents sweat alot, then you will too.  I sweat alot too, and it doesn't have anything to do with working out, or your metabolism.  You just have over-active sweat glands, which sounds gross, but is normal, because I do too.

    Hope I helped (:

  2. It depends a lot on your age and s*x, also your diet and activity.

Males sweat a lot more than females. If you are in your teens you will sweat more because your hormonal balance is in a state of flux and you will go from a state of calmness to anxiety easily especially when confronted with the opposite s*x or by authority figures.

The best thing is not to be concerned about it. Engaging in a lot of physical activity actually helps...sports, exercise that type of thing. Cut down on Colas and caffeine containing beverages, because they stimulate your sympathetic nervous system.

The really stinky sweat is what bothers most people and ruins clothing. This is caused by emotional stimulation unlike the type of sweat which is caused by physical activity.

I find that the use of a heavy duty anti-perspirant at bedtime when you are not sweating, helps a lot. I used to use Mitchum's for Men and it was great. Having a clean shirt to change into is reassuring because you don't have to worry about offending anyone else or having people remark on your wet underarms.

I think that if you respect your doctor you should see him if you are being made miserable by this. There are things like Botox injections that really make an amazing difference if the more easily available things don't help. Don't just put up with it.

  3. if you never do exercise, maybe it's because you're fat and hot and your body is trying to cool you down. lose the flab, get fit and you won't heat up as much, meaning your body won't be trying to cool you down taking away the sweat.

  4. Sometimes it can be a good thing. It is just your body's way of riding itself of poisons.
