Why do i think this way???

Question

my ex broke it off 3 months ago now she wants to see me but i am scared, i dont want to see her but in a month i am going to rome to see her/ surprise her and give her a golden rose and a letter with how i feel...

can you explain why i would want to see her in rome but not here? that i would risk so much with little chance of gaining what i lost?? is there a reason for my maddness??? serious answers please!!! thanks

This isn't a romantic comedy movie. In real life women do not think it is charming when an ex flies 4000 miles to see us - we think it is scary.

If the reason you don't want to talk to her is that you are afraid she is going to say  "Leave me alone" then why waste your money flying to Italy.

Talk to her mom or sister or friend and explain how you feel and that you want to do this.  I suspect they will also tell you not to.

You are a hopeless romantic and like having your heart stepped upon.  Have you considered what will happen if she lets you down again, or if you are going there to surprise her, and you are the one surprised.

I suggest you do it here and save the money it would cost to go to Rome.
