  1. you are nervous and you want to act like you are cool so you smoke

  2. Most bars will have remnant smells of tobacco. Most (not all) patrons of the bar smoke. Alcohol has a tendency to subdue or cover up some of what you smoke. Also you may smoke more when you get involved in listening to conversations or music and you tend to forget that you already had one....

  3. cause your getting drunk

  4. everyone does, the world may never know...haha, actually its because people smoke more when they drink. that and its kinda a social thing. you see other people smoking and it triggers your brain that you want one too.

  5. Alcohol and cigarettes taste great together.... which is a very, very, very, bad thing.  It's really hard to breathe the next day.

  6. beer and smoke go well together

  7. You may not be getting drunk!

But you see other people smoking, so your brain beleives that you should smoke too!

Or you picture a bar as a place were everyone smokes, so you do it naturally!

  8. Because you are going to the bar for chicks and chicks dig a dude with a cigarette right?

  9. Because you are used to seeing the bar and when you are in it, this stimulates the brain to start thinking about ciggarettes.

It might also be for the looks =]

  10. Various reasons: conditioning (used to smoking in certain environments more than others because you *always* smoke in bars but only occasionally at home (as you have to do other things) so the associative link is stronger).

Or because everyone else is smoking, so it acts as a prompt and you feel more comfortable doing it.
