  1. Pay attention to what you are doing.

Also, focus on the center line==making sure you stay to the right of it.

As long as you are on the right side of the center line you should be o.k..

It's good that you are asking for help.

Driving can be a dangerous thing if you don't do it right.

Good luck! and if you don't get the help you need here, then please check with a driving school for additional help.

  2. If this is a serious question, you have front end problems. Check ball joints

  3. Obviously there is one major problem, possibly two.

Either you are trying to multi-task, in which case you should be shot, or you haven't a clue how to hold the wheel and have proper control, in which case you need driving lessons.

If it is both, then you need driving lessons, then should be shot.

  4. I'll take a stab at it from a different angle. Assuming you started driving 30 years ago, I'm guessing you were driving cars from the 60's or so. Cars back then had a lot of "free play" in the steering wheel -- you could turn the wheel 1"-2" before the cars would start to change direction. You would have to rock the steering wheel back and forth to feel where your tires were. As cars got smaller, the manufacturers switched to rack and pinion steering, which gives you tighter/better steering "feel" in a lighter package. Since most American cars now have rack and pinion steering, if you subconsciously rock your steering hand as you drive, you'll find that you're wandering in your lane.

Or... your front end is shot, take it to an alignment shop.

  5. Stop text messaging people and pay attention to the d**n road.
