Why do indians fear the growing nepalese populations in northeast india?

Do they feel a nepali take over b/c nepalis have houses, jobs, businesses and property there?

  1. Nepalese are fearing Indians beggers in Nepali cities, Indian beggers inveded Kathmandu already.


  2. There were a lot of nepali speaking indian people in north east india. It should be noted that Nepali language is one of the 16 official languages (just like kananda, gujarati, marathi, hindi etc) in India.

    I don't think that there would be a takeover from Nepal. It might be reminded that they have a good relationship (till now). But many communist politicians in Nepal think that India will invade Nepal and take over it just like it what happened to Sikkim.
