Why do is food so good? i eat when im bored?

Question

when im bored i try not to eat. But when i watch tv something with food haves to come on like BK and fat food c**p. and it makes it hard for me not eat because when they always freaking enlarge the texture of the food(meat) it makes me want to eat!!!! why the h**l do they enlarge the texture of food to make it look better? i mean when i eat there i see the food as normal food but when its on tv it looks soooooooo good. do you guys eat something after looking at a good tasty commerical? or is it just me????

They obviously make it look better so it will sell better. You think they are going to make it look like c**p? No, because no one would buy it.

Sometimes I will crave food after seeing a commercial like that, but, unless I haven't eaten in awhile, I usually just keep watching TV.

They play on our visual attraction to convince us to eat when we don't need to. I do tend to eat out of boredom (which is horrible) so no, its not just you.

You just have to be aware that businesses use psychology on consumers, anything to sell the product. This way you can fight back- change the channel or drink lots of water, sometimes chewing gum helps (preferable sugar free gum, don't want to mess up your teeth either).
