Children at the pre shool age learn a lot more from each other than they do from adults, as a parent of a three year old since being with kids her own age she has come on leaps and bounds, her confidense has boosted the way she uses words has improved. they seem to copy each other therfore learning more.

they need to learn how to communicate with other children, and how to make themselves understood, without an adult stepping in to help.

They also need to learn to share, and co-operate with other children in a neutral environment. Pre-school is also good for introducing the concepts of written communication, both reading and writing, and also getting children to respond to a routine, doing what they are told, bascially getting them ready for infant school.
