Why do jeans shrink when you wash them??

even when I wash them in cold, they are stiff and smaller at first when i put them on

  1. NO - all jeans sold are made from pre-washed denim.

    The fiber in denim will relax during the drying process, machine or air dry. The fabric will expand a little while you wear it....


  2. It's what they're made out of these days

    so if you don't want them to shrink

    wash them on delicate mode,

    cold water,  

    and no dryer of course

    let them air dry

    dry on low just to get the stiffness out
