  1. How many people would pay $60 for  a kickboxing pay-per-view event.  Boxing is a very popular sport.  I have to admit I know little about kickboxing and I probably would enjoy watching it but Its just never going to compare with boxing or the UFC.

  2. That is just because boxing is more popular and therefore there is more money to earn on regular boxing.

  3. It's just a question of revenue generated. Less revenue means less money for the fighters. Obviously revenue relates to popularity.

  4. because boxing is far more popular than kickboxing

  5. Because boxing has a long history in the US and kick-boxing is only recently becoming popular. I would like to see the sport grow into something much more than it is.

  6. Kickboxing has really only been popular in Thailand and has only recently become popular elsewhere.
