People have their opinions, and they can like or dislike whoever they want. There is no rulebook for liking any wrestler, including Edge.

I can't see why any Experienced and well-rounded fan would hate Edge. He has a solid in-ring ability and can perform well in any kind of match. He has gone the distence in technical contests and has stolen the show in alternative match types. His hardcore match with Foley comes to mind.

Inexpereinced and younger fans hate edge simply because he is a "heel", a bad guy. Inexperienced fans cheer for the good and boo the bad. That 's why knowledgeable fans will cheer for Edge more.

Because they are the casual fans, other fans know the history of Edge, and how he has impacted the business. His days with Christian, Lita, when he won the first ever MITB Ladder match, his days with RKO against DX, till his amazing matches with the Undertaker. With included WrestleMaina 24, Backlash, Judgment Day, ONS, and Summerslam. Lastly to his phyco turn. A casual fan is a fan who comes and goes. It is what Mr.Mcmahon wants. These casual fans have only seen him with Vickie Guerrero, which was a low point in Edge's career. A lot of people hate Edge because he is playing a heel, and he attacked Undertaker, a fan favorite, costing him many title opportunities. I don't hate EDge I think he is one of the best who has been elevated to the top.

Probably because they have only been around for the past couple of years, when he's been stuck with Vickie Guerrero and he plays a great heel doesn't he.  I think they dislike him not hate him.

I don't hate Edge. But I think, while the Edge/Vickie angle made bigger stars of the two, I think it had a bad effect on Smackdown. After this whole debacle, the storylines got so messed up that the next logical step for a PPV was the Championship Scramble on Smackdown, too. This leaves the Big Show and the Underaker out of the picture, too. Because, it's a bad time to pit Triple H against the Undertaker or the Big Show. It's a war of three guys that are over as faces. It's a weak draw. Now, I realize this has nothing to do with Edge and more to do with storyline writing. I figure Edge should have just passed on the whole damned thing. I hate this angle more than any angle I've seen over the past two years, including Vince's Limo Exploding. Smackdown sucks right now. And it's because they centered the show around him.
