  2. well.. because it's a multi cellular organism... it is more complicated than a single cell organism, a multi needs more and more complex processes to continue life... they need organs, they need maintenance, regulation, protection and others... that's why they need those specialized cells to those processes, in their name " specialized" it means they do a specific job in a process to continue life, for example the red blood cells, their specialty is transporting oxygen throughout the body. and there many other cell that are needed to continue the life of the multi cellular organism, God's creations are really amazing!
