I have a very liberal friend. His daughter got pregnant at 17 also. She had the baby and put it up for adoption. Liberals and conservatives both get pregnant out of wedlock. My sister got pregnant at 18 and kept her baby. My niece is a wonderful person whom the entire family loves very much. Why does anyone attack. We all make mistakes and we must assume the consequences.

Jamie lynn Spears was touted as some kind of hero/role-model.  Liberals like unwed/unmarried teenagers, look at all the lib programs designed to make it acceptable. Bristol should be the democrat party's poster girl.  By the way, Bristol Palin is not running for any office either.

It is none of our business! Seriously, the percentage of teenage parents is very high.  This just brings to spotlight what a  large problem it is.  No one is perfect so why should anyone expect the Palin family to be?  I am a Democrat but find it horendous that we could stoop this low!  Honestly whenever celebrities like Jamie Lynn Spears or Bristol Palin get pregnant, it is the end of the world.  But this happens everyday to regular teenagers some of which are very poor.  Teen pregancy is a growing problem.  We must acknowledge that before anything else can be done.
