Further, why do they hide behind "socialization" to promote public schools?

  1. Not a single one of your sources supports your premise: that liberals hate homeschooling and private schools. In fact, the conservatives I know are far more against homeschooling than any liberals.

  2. It would not support full employment for teachers, and where would they perform the miracle of liberal indoctrination of the younguns?

Public schools have been ruined largely by the efforts of social engineering busybodies in state and federal governments.  I have taught school and I feel sorry for any kid who has to do time in such a place among such people.

  3. It is essential in a controlled society to have all people thinking the same.

What is taught in the Public school today will be government policy in twenty years.

You also should research John Taylor Gatto, Teacher of the Year three time recipient and read about his views on Public schools

Research the "Know Nothing Legislation" that brought mandatory public schooling to America.  Find out the dirty secret.

Public School, controlled by the government insures an obedient population of workers and soldiers and what ever the **** the government wants out of the populace.   Hitler banned Home Education.  Scholars can blame the first and second world wars directly on the German public school system.  (our school system is designed on the same model for the same reasons)

The liberals know that an independent mind is a dangerous thing.

Stamp out free thought, stamp out individual choice.. The school system is doing it's job and the media is doing theirs.

Who is teaching your children, and what are they teaching them?

  4. They want everybody to be dumbed down and drug proned so they can buy their ideology.

  5. Teachers Union for one but more importantly is that Dems fear families teaching their children because the liberal indoctrination from the Teachers Won't impact the youth of America.

  6. There's nothing wrong with private schools. The problem is when people want to use public money to send their children to private schools through vouchers. Don't they realize that the majority of private schools don't want these children anyway and that the money they would get through vouchers doesn't even come close to paying tuition at most of these schools? As for homeschooling, I don't have a problem with it either. I know someone who was homeschooled because she had already been held back several grades and still hadn't graduated from high school at the age of 19. The only time I do have a problem is when there are those who don't teach their children certain subjects because they either don't know enough about them of they violate their religious or personal beliefs.

It is public education that has been the great equalizer in our society. Because of it, poor children can get as much access to getting an education as weathier children. Without it, we would have a situation that exists in many developing countries today. Only those children whose parents can afford to send them to school get to attend. Since the parents have limited resources, they are more likely to use those resources to send boys to school and keep the girls at home to help out around the house. As a result, most of the world's illiterate people are female. I know Oprah Winfrey drew heavy criticism for building a school for girls in South Africa and not for boys but people need to realize in that part of the world, girls generally don't get an education at all, especially if they are poor.

  7. Like Hitler understood, control the minds of the youth and they will grow up to be the Gestapo fascists of tomorrow, rather they will grow up to be democrats.

..."when there are those who don't teach their children certain subjects because they either don't know enough about them of they violate their religious or personal beliefs."...

no problem with the not knowing enough about a subject, but it is my right to teach my own children what I want, in accordance with my beliefs an religious convictions.

It is not your right to teach my kids something that conflicts with those choices.  It is not the right of the government to use public funds to indoctrinate my kids like public schools do.
