Question:

Why do liberals hate war?

What do they have against America defending their freedom against enemies that wish to destroy it? Why do they continue to live in a delusion thinking that we can live normally, in peace while the enemy wants to destroy us and our freedom?

  1. Why rich republicans send other people's children to war?

  2. I have news for you. Most people hate war liberal or not. Those who love war are dangerous. War should always be avoided whenever possible and should be the result of being left with no other options for dealing with a situation. Your question is an over-simplification. The dispute is usually about whether or not a war is just and normally involves questionable situations that could be viewed in different ways.

Example: I supported removing Hussein from power and I support allowing the Iraqis to have a free democratically elected government. I do not however believe that Iraq posed a direct threat to the United States.

  3. you sound like you been listening to too many Bush speeches, you sound just like him, and empty hat, repeating the same ol rant~!!!

  4. Everybody Hates war, we just have a hard time deciding deciding when and where it is necessary.

  5. You mean like the thousand-some-odd times Obama's mentioned escalating the conflict in Afghanistan, which he calls "the good war?" Is that what you mean by hating war? Because that's a very strange way of hating war.

  6. Who likes war? There are only 2 kinds of people who like war... those who have never been to war, and those who make millions off of war. Oh I guess that describes the guys in the White House perfectly.

And cmon, how many times does it need to be said... Iraq posed zero threat to us, and we knew it. This c**p about fighting to defend our freedom is a load of it, Iraq was certainly in no position to bring our government down. Not even n**i Germany was in position to do that. Do you understand what it would take for a nation to launch a full scale attack on our shores?

  7. Invading a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 for reasons that have since proved to be absolutely false is not "defending [our] freedom again enemies that wish to destroy it". It's creating infinitely more enemies and diminishing our ability to persuade the world that our intentions are good.

  8. Cause it doesn't solve anything... have you ever heard the saying "fighting for peace is like f#cking for virginity."

im not crazy about war. but if its necessary im all for it..like is the US is under attack. But todays war that is not te case. If we pulled out of Iraq the U.S. as we know it is not going to end...if they threatened us thats a different story....

dont go saying that september 11 justifys the war. What happened was a Terrorist attack... an attack by a certain group of extremist..THEY should be punished not the whole country!

It's making us look really bad.

  9. READ "SOCIALISM AND WAR" BY KARL MARX. BUT REMEMBER WAR IS THE LAST REFUGE OF A SCOUNDREL.

  10. I'm just curious, how much time have you spent fighting for the rights you claim to treasure so much?  There is a huge difference between hating war and being afraid to fight, it seems that the people that claim to think war is always the best and only answer are the last ones to ruck-up and go.  It's not that "liberals" hate war they are just smart enough to understand that there are other ways to resolve a problem , instead of going right to the fight.  When you were a teenager did you stand up to the bully or did you not say anything as long as he was not bothering you, if I just read your question I might get the impression that you were the one that went right in and punched the bully out whether he was bothering you or anyone else that could not or would not defend themselves. But you are probably the type to run off and find someone bigger than the bully and hope they go and get him, just like most "conservatives" that love war but are unwilling to go themslves or send their loved ones.

  11. If we were standing on the beach of the US and defending her I'd have no problem with it.

But we invaded a country with no plans of war, arms inspectors, and fly overs conducted by our own country.

    Who was threatening our freedom?

Osama attacked us, but he was never in Iraq.

He was and is in the Afghanistan/Pakistan border.

I have no objection to getting him, none at all.

But the thing about terrorists is that they have no country, and other countries have this thing about being invaded by us as we try to get them.  We wouldn't want Iran to take a quick bombing raid at us in order to get some Israelis living in NY would we?

We do hate to be lied to about the need for war when it doesn't exist.

But you can't tell me that conservatives like being lied to, no one does.

  12. I don't have a problem with attacking enemies that pose a threat to our security. Iraq did not pose a threat to our security which is why we should have never went there in the first place. What is so hard to understand about that?

  13. Because they like Abortion killing better, like in infants who can not fight back!

    Liberals are cowards and losers!

  14. I'm a liberal and I love war. I would love to see russia kick chinas butt.then n. korea kick russias rear end.on and on.It would solve a few problems . less people in this world.Get rid of the hot heads like you. Leave the world to people that could sit down and reason problems out. yes I love wars.Get it on. I want a front row seat.

  15. Saddam Hussein was not trying to destroy our freedom. You sound extremely paranoid. The Iraq war is designed to line the pockets of defense companies with taxpayer money. It has nothing to do with anybodies' freedom.

  16. Because they are cowards. They would rather live peacefully in a prison than fight for their freedom.

Liberals are willing to give up everything just so that someone will like them and think they're nice. Problem is that you can never get everyone to like you and all you do is destroy yourself in the process.

Most of us learn that lesson in our early teens. Some people never grow up and spend most of their lives trying to be liked instead of being someone who can be respected.
