Why do liberals only want to apply the Fairness Doctrine to Radio? Why not TV and newspapers?

  1. Yeah, all liberals want the exact same thing.


  2. It's their way of stamping their feet and saying "It's not fair!"  Conservatives are huge in the radio market and it makes them so mad they could spit -- and they do, in the form of completely chidish rants against conservative pundits like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter.  They know their ill-informed views can't compete in the radio market, so they try to blow the whistle and call foul based on the Fairness Doctrine.  On the flipside, they keep shut about TV and newspapers because they don't want to jeopardize their very obedient lap-dogs at ABC, CBS, CNN, the New York Times, and the Washington Post, just to name a few.

  3. Because they already have the TV sewn up. They love everyone to have their own thoughts, as long as you agree with them.

  4. Because they feel left out on the radio.  They pompously think  they should "own" that too!
