Why do liberals rejoice when pro lifers support Obama, but then they trash pro lifers everywhere else??

I have seen on many liberal Web sites ("Huffington Post" for example) that they write positively when a pro lifer supports a liberal pro abortionist like Obama, but everywhere else they label pro lifers as "anti choicers" etc.

Abortion is such a contrived issue.

The Republican party will never overturn Roe V. Wade.  h**l, they had a rep. congress along with Bush in early 2000s.  

They will keep it the way it is because it is a great key issue that many people will base their vote on.  It's a wonderful voting bloc for Republicans.. hence they will never end it.

Why do Conservatives embrace John McCain as pro-life?  McCain says that he favors exceptions for rape and incest.  Are children conceived out of rape and incest not also human beings.  Why does McCain think it is O.K. to murder them.  Why, in his mind are some abortions murder and others are not murder??????

Don't you realize that the republican party is using you EVERY election cycle?  They have no intention of trying to overturn roe v wade.  They are far more powerful with things the way they are, that way every few years they can make it look like they care about this issue.  and like zombies you shuffle off to the polls over this issue.

Most people don't, most still call them pro-lifers in all situations (even though that is wrong). maybe you haven't looked everywhere as you claim.

Anyone who trashes pro-lifers isn't really a liberal, as liberal means acceptance of a wide variety of opinion and points of view. Dogmatic people on both sides give bad names to both conservatives and liberals.

Liberals rejoice when their candidate gets the nod from Islamic terrorists, illegal aliens, professional welfare recipients and so fourth.

Once elected, they change their hymn books and sing quite a different tune.

Because the pro lifers that support Obama know that economic stability is the key to less abortions and Obama is the best for economic recovery.

Did Obama say he was a "pro-abortionist"? He did not say that.

You see the problem, with this particular issue, is that the people who think they are being conservative (the pro-lifers) think they're being conservative. Conservative, when it comes to politics and government, means preventing the government from interfering in our personal lives. And since the self proclaimed pro-lifers want to use the government to interfere into everyone's life, they are being anything, but conservative.

My dad always told me that politics and religion don't mix. Your's should have told you the same.
