Why do lights keep turning on in my house?

its always the same light i have my eyes open and all of the suden the lights turn on my mom i awake to and she sees it nothing else its just that same light is it the whirring??

You have bad wireing or a bad electric circuit or you keep forgetting to pay your bill. I dont know but it aint paranormal happenings.

My neigbors are old have laqmps that do this and it drives me buggy.

Try ikea they have great lamps cheap that dont do this.

Its definitely not spooks. spooks make lights go out and stay out.

Then they make you see little balls of lights on film of pictures

of the same room the lights go out in. If this is happening

then repeat it fo a paranormal research group otherwise get

some new lamps and cut the bull.

Lights don't just turn on for no reason.  Have an electrician check it out.  Switches have known to go bad.  It could be alot of reasons.  Ants could short the switch or maybe a wet roach got inside the switch and shorted the light on.

Sometimes if a light is switched too lightly the metal pieces that connect to make the light turn on will get weak, and randomly open and close, causing the light to turn on and off. We have the same problem with our Bathroom and our hall light, i doubt highly that it is a ghost. When you turn it on, yourself next time flip it hard, but not hard to break it or anything, just so the metal pieces are forced together and they will stay together.

it could be you have a timer set, bad wiring is a possibility, and so are the rest the others are saying.
