  1. I guess because they have seen it done. Also they were probably taught the trick by their parents or another student. They could have seen their parents do it with a crack pipe or a devil's lettuce "cigarette. LOL! Plus, school is boring...

  2. I've seen monkeys play with small sticks in the same manner.

Maybe our Simian closeness is still active when we are young, and as we just get older and more civilized or less animal like, we loose the animal playfulness, although I know many ape-ish and boar-ish adults who exaggerate their animalism.

  3. Because they can and because it's fun.

  4. They think it looks like a moustache. :D

  5. little kids im in my late twenties and i still do it lol

  6. Because school is boring and that is a sure proof way to entertain yourself.

  7. a throwback to early development, to an infant their mouth is how they learn about the world.  ever notice munchkins put EVERYTHING in their mouths?

  8. Why not? It's fun. I haven't done that in like 20 years. I think I'll do so now.

  9. Because they can, and are to young to know society's strictures so do what feels natural and fun (bit like us grown ups do when no one is there to see.lol)
