Why do malaysian motorbike drivers wear a jacket (back ward)?

I'm looking for the reasons that they wear a jacket while they drive?

Maybe I can solve it easier and more comfortable.

i go to malaysia and i sow them when they wear a jacket and i told my father too whay they wear a jacket

my father sait maybe when they drive they feel a cold

and plz answer my question

It's a lifestyle thing. Kind of like wearing colours.

most malaysians wear jacket while they are riding. they're not wearing jacket because of lifestyle. it's because of the air condition on the road with smoke n haze from other vehicles. so to protect their body from direct air contact, which will make their shirts smell (smoke), they have to cover their front body with something. back section body is not important that's why for a lazy malaysians, who does'nt care about lifestyle, just wear their jacket backwards.

i am a malaysian too, and i did'nt wear jacket to go to work because i've putted windshield on my scooter. but if I use cubchai also i will wear a jacket but not backward.
