Why do managers hire the wrong people?

I go to places and see how rude some girls are. And here I am trying to get a job and I am so happy all the time and nice. I think why did they deserve that job?

are a manager please explain this, I am not too happy with you guys and you people can do better.

its not that managers hire rude ppl, its just that after years of working customer service, and dealing with STUPID BRAIN DEAD PEOPLE, u cant help but start to get a little bitter

and managers are not stupid either, they hire ppl that they see POTENTIAL in - ppl that they KNOW can do the job and STICK up for the company and themselves if u do encounter rude ppl

happy and nice isnt always the best thing when asking for a job

and like i siad, after years of working there, u just lose the happy/nice

1) the application - if the application is good, then you interview

2) the interview - if the interview is good, you hire them

3) the job - some people apply and get jobs because they need the money

4) the attitude - it isn't until someone starts a job that you realise you made a mistake, but unless they s***w up, you can't get rid of them
