I know there are many many americans who know something about us, but I've had people from the states ask me if I live in an igloo and if we have beavers, moose, and polar bears in abundance on our streets. Also, upon hearing I'm from Canada, I've been asked "Oh, so do you know my friend Steve? He lives in Canada."

Also, being from Vancouver, I've had many people ask me if have an English accent. I am not from England whatsoever. Has anyone else ever thought the same of a Canadian accent?

  1. No one ever hears from Canada. It's almost nonexistent..

  2. I think it because you never hear anything about Canada, like its not even there, it never makes the news or anything. All that I know about it is that it is cold and they have good medical care for the people.

  3. Yall got good bacon I know that

  4. Well not alot of people know things about other countries , not just Canada but Mexico and other countries until they actually learned about it.

  5. What has this to do with travel in the US?

    Try Politics.

  6. Canadians are very quiet.  Americans are more, shall we say, exuberant.  hahaha

The truth is, I don't remember learning anything at all in school about Canada.  I have no idea why it wasn't part of our education.

  7. Many, if not most, Americans know little about any other country.
